She started the over with a boundary after Rana bowled a slot delivery on the pads, which Devine hit mid-wicket. The second ball was also hit for four. On the third delivery, Rana bowled a slower ball all the way out and Devine stepped down the lane and hit it long-on for six.The fourth ball was bowled on leg stump. Devine deflected her front leg and hit it over the cow corner for another six balls to complete her 50 from 25 balls. The fifth delivery was another floating half-volley which Devine hit over deep mid-wicket for the third time in a row.The last ball of the over was a full toss on the leg side and Devine hit it again deep mid-wicket. The over produced 32 runs and took Gujarat ahead.Devine eventually fell short of an astonishing hundred by five, scoring 95 runs off 42 balls.Earlier, Delhi Capitals Women won the toss and decided to play against Gujarat Giants Women in the fourth match of the Women’s Premier League 2026 in Navi Mumbai on Sunday.
