The AIFF was in no way involved in the organization, planning or execution of this event. The safety of everyone involved must remain the top priority.”The event was intended to showcase the Argentine soccer star, but disappointed many fans. Local authorities have begun investigating the circumstances that led to Messi’s early departure and the subsequent unrest at the stadium.
