According to recent reports, Priya Kapur has asked the Supreme Court to access confidential documents from Sunjay Kapur’s divorce proceedings with actress Karisma Kapoor in 2016.As reported by ANI, Sunjay’s third wife Priya Kapur has filed an application seeking attested copies of all documents related to the divorce case. The matter will be heard by a bench headed by Justice AS Chandurkar, which will decide whether these sensitive documents can be disclosed.ANI said, “Priya Kapur, the third wife of late businessman Sunjay Kapur, has approached the Supreme Court seeking certified copies of all documents related to the divorce proceedings between Karisma Kapoor and Sunjay in 2016.” A bench of Justice AS Chandurkar will examine whether these confidential documents should be made available to her. Priya has requested access to the said divorce documents to ascertain her late former husband’s financial and custody arrangements.“For those who don’t know, Karisma married Sunjay in 2003 and their divorce was finalized in 2016. Meanwhile, the battle over Sunjay Kapur’s estate continues to heat up. According to reports, his children with Karisma Kapoor, Samaira and Kiaan, have raised fresh objections to electronic evidence submitted in court. They have reportedly questioned the digital location data submitted by Priya Kapur in the Delhi High Court.The siblings claim that while Priya claimed in an affidavit that she was in Gurugram on March 21, 2025, the day the disputed will was allegedly signed, electronic records show that her phone was in New Delhi. Their statement also said that both Sunjay and Priya Kapur were in Delhi and not Gurugram that day. The filing further alleges that on the same day, Karisma was in contact with Sunjay via WhatsApp regarding her children’s Portuguese citizenship.
